Our anti-tick collars are custom-made to size (2cm wide), making them suitable for dogs (and cats) of all sizes. The collar is fitted with a closure that is not designed for attaching a leash. Therefore, the anti-tick collar should be worn in addition to the regular collar.
After every walk, it remains important to check your pet for ticks. As with other anti-tick products, this collar does not provide a 100% guarantee. For optimal effectiveness, the collar should be worn as consistently as possible. During rough or active play, the collar may be removed temporarily; however, especially during the first few weeks, it is recommended to wear the collar day and night.
The effectiveness of the anti-tick collar may vary from one animal to another. In general, it takes approximately three weeks for the collar to become fully effective and for the animal to become less attractive to ticks attempting to attach.
To ensure proper use and maintain optimal performance, a user manual is provided with the product.
With regular and proper maintenance, the anti-tick collar can last for many years. The paracord is strong and durable. Please note that the ceramic beads, despite their high quality, are more fragile and should be handled with care.
